Highlights

Enjoy a journey by cable car and chairlift to 2300m / 7546ft. A short walk brings us to to the Chamolé Lake and the beginning of our ascent of La Tete Noire (2820m / 9252ft). We then follow a ridge to the south to gain the summit of a '3000er', the Punta Valetta (3089m / 10135ft). Experience, in splendid isolation, an unforgettable panorama - unique within the Alps - of the most celebrated peaks: Mont Blanc, Gran Paradiso, the Matterhorn and Monte Rosa. Enjoy a picnic of regional specialities, prepared by Katja, as you attempt an Alpine '3000er' . We descend to Aosta on foot, chairlift, cable car and cloud 9!
